Simikot is the administrative headquarters of Humla district of karnali zone in the mountain region of northwest Nepal Simikot lies an altitude of 2910 m above the sea level .This is one of the biggest District in Nepal, and covers 5655 sq km but has very low population. Humla is one of the most remote list visited Region in Nepal only accessible by air service. Humla is very much traditional and is well preserve in terms of nature. Since there is no modernization the life in Humla Simikot region is very much isolated from the outer world. Trekking in this region gives you an experience of walking into pristine nature. Tibet likes topography and some rare species of flora and fauna beautiful, bitter, joyous and holy it is Humla. Humla district an important part of ancient Buddhist religions it holds a lot of histories cultures and values of a typical Buddhist life.
There is typical mountain airport as well as mountain village it takes 45 minutes from Nepaljung to simikot airport by plane .Simikot is main entrance of Mansarobar and Mt Kailas in Tibet more than 800 years historical monastery are in Haliji village trading is very suitable place between Nepal and Tibet people exchange wooden handicraft or running people business. Many ways of trade communities and they are blessed with very beautiful nature with abundance of natural resources varied flora and fauna.
